Tractor-Trailer Train Crash Closes Roads, Carlise Police Say (Developing)

A crash involving a tractor-trailer and a train has halted vehicle traffic on several streets in Carlisle, police announced on Monday morning.

The crash happened in the area of the 400 block of North Bedford Street just before 11 a.m. on Feb. 26, the police detailed in the release.

Details about the crash were not immediately available but no injuries have been reported. 

The following roadways have been closed due to the crash:

  • 400 Block of N Bedford St.
  • 400 Block of N East St.
  •  400 Block of N Hanover St. (which includes the intersection with Spring Road).

Traffic has been detoured and officers remain on the scene.
